PRIZE: The winner and a guest will be able to attend the 2009 WPA Auction Gala as a WPA Artist for free ($200 value!). The Auction will be held March 7, 2009 at the Katzen Arts Center. The winning artist will also get recognition at the event and on our web site.

Since 2006, we’ve been working with the international art market with a concentration on metropolitan Washington DC and the mid-Atlantic region.
We promote women artists and especially increased awareness of women’s beauty culture, self-esteem, body identity and gender image issues through art. To this end, we work through public and installation art in thematic collage, art journals, visual diaries, sketchbooks, and paper & book arts with a concentration on vintage ephemera and materials.
