Transit Chair

Today we received a call from Reena Kazmann, Director, of Eco-artware.  Reena’s had her online e-commerce gift store featuring recycled, resused, and repurposed goods for about ten years.  Featured above is the red, black, and white transit chair.

Eco-Artware.com is a web-based gallery of unique, well-made and environmentally friendly gifts. Their natural and recycled products are eco-friendly and sustainable. They’re unique works of art for people who care about our planet. From the comfort of your home, you can buy a unique gift from the online store for any occasion: the winter holidays, a birthday, graduation, anniversary or a wedding. They also carry corporate gifts or gifts for the businessman or woman. So many of their eco-friendly gifts are conversation pieces that have meaning and value far beyond the purchase price.

Because of Reena’s commitment to green products, Eco-Artware.com has been featured in Time, Good Housekeeping, The Wall Street Journal and many other publications. She is pleased to be spreading the word that gifts can be beautiful, well-made, eco-friendly and within a person’s budget.

They offer a wide range of handcrafted items and products made in independent workshops, including jewelry, personal accessories, home décor, recycled stationery and office accessories. They also create custom designed business promotions and awards made of recycled or reused materials.

Eco-Artware.com also carries some first generation eco-friendly items, such as ripstop nylon reusable shopping bags that are recyclable, hand-turned pens made of sustainably harvested wood, and bracelets made with Fair Trade choclo beads. We feature the original work of over 25 artists who are committed to sustainable living and utilize these exciting green mediums.

Since 1999, Eco-Artware.com has showcased earth friendly gifts made by artists who are committed to sustainability and factor the environment into their work. They appreciate the imagination and creativity of artists who take used or discarded (but perfectly good) materials and transform them into exciting, innovative designs. Among the upcycled and recycled items you’ll find: jewelry made from vintage typewriter keysZulu Imbenge basketswoven with recycled and left over telephone wires, and chairs from retired aluminum transit signs.
