The Shauna Lee Lange Foundation will be an independent not-for-profit enterprise.  The Foundation’s mission will encourage, enable, empower, endorse and educate women of all ages (especially in vulnerable and impoverished populations) to build self-image, self-esteem and self-reliance by effecting and communicating positive social change in their communities through the use of creative arts.

 Articles of Incorporation (Draft October 2009)

1.  Excel beyond accepted norms and negative cultures.  Nurture women through social influences, academic support, spiritual development, camaraderie, and scholarship.

2.  Provide group activities and workshops.  Arrange special activities and retreats. 

3.  Broaden opportunities for women and girls by collaborating with various educational organizations and mentoring groups.

4.  Develop a partnership of charities dedicated to helping women and girls throughout impoverished communities.  Bring together independent U.S. – based charities focused exclusively on supporting programs in the arts.

5.  Establish bold pioneering initiatives for broad-based economic development in the arts.  Empowering generations worldwide through technology & arts.  Function as a recognized leader in preparing women and children in developing countries with 21st Century skills.

6.  Advocate, educate and partner to improve quality of life for women and girls.  Partnerships shall be meaningful and involve shared work projects, financial and technical support, and are to be arranged for arts programs.
