home heist’s top 10 nyc resources for the home & garden

My husband didn’t grow up in the States and sometimes his innocence of things I take for granted is humorous.  After watching HGTV during yesterday’s torrential rainstorms, he exasperatingly said, “There’s a LOT of shows about houses.”  I replied, “It’s HGTV (dummy).”  He, looking slightly confused, “What’s that?”.  Well, he also spent many years working in NYC in large-scale architecture projects and didn’t have a lot of time for couch-sitting.  I get the feeling the same might be true of Colin McAllister and Justin Ryan.  They’re hosts of HGTV’s Colin & Justin’s Home Heist and the authors of Colin & Justin’s Home Heist Style Guide.  A couple of months ago, The Vancouver Sun carried an article on their top 10 picks for NYC retail resources for the home and garden.  Enjoy!
