art journal for deb: pastel pelican

Deb recently traveled to Florida to support a family member who is undergoing life-threatening illness.  Deb lamented about the decor being nothing but “pastel pelicans” – an opinion she likely had in part due to additional personal obstacles she overcame while here with her own health and her extended family.  Every time I see a pelican now, I think of Deb.  So this is for you, you pink flamingo you!
