TOTALLY true how the plastic bins irritate! But you can easily hide them, or build wood cases if they get to you & you can’t afford to splurge. I am slowly replacing all of mine.

I have an office in the house, so the paperwork isn’t in my studio! I’ll be moving soon though, and most likely to an apt… so I will have to change that.

The updates on Bob Wilson’s works is very interesting. I was particular happy to see the notice about his performance at the Iberoamericano International Theatre Festival of Bogota. It is great that you also included a link! Did you know that this is the largest theatre festival in the world? I will be covering the festival for my website http://www.bogotabrilliance.com that reaches an international audience with a particular interest in the arts. A brief article about the festival has already been posted, and Bob has been mentioned specifically. I would welcome the opportunity to interview him while he is in Bogota. Would it be best if I contacted him directly through his website (curiously, his schedule does not list the Bogota festival)? If at all possible, I would appreciate it if you were able to assist me in arranging a meeting with Bob.

I have a Garden Pass to Longwood Gardens. Nothing can surpass their beautiful flowers and conservatory. I have taken hundreds of photographs there, especially the orchid room, and enjoy painting mixed florals using them as inspiration. The orchid shows are outstanding and I haven’t missed one yet.

So true. Even in a time where famished models are increasingly frowned upon, these brands persist. I think that a disconnect is already in progress with a good part of their public, but I guess it will have to impact their bottom line considerably before we stop seeing these. So sad.

I regularly do visual journaling and have for years. I use visual art journals as my means of journaling and also use this with my clients in my practice as an art therapist. Thanks for the referral to this book, I’ll definitely look this up.

My hope is that this becomes a national movement as we need to teach our youth how to recognize an unhealthy relationship and how to communicate in ways that are not harmful to one another.
It has to begin with they they see…this is one of those cases where we as adults must lead by example
