This page, describing our services in creating your own art studios and craft workshops, will be ready in February 2012.

 STUDIO DESIGN

Vintage oddities; creative storage ideas, office supplies, or stylishly unique furnishings, whatever your passion, we are creating inspired work spaces for artists and artisans and craftspeople with discerning tastes.  With a love of infusing beauty into form and function, your living and breathing space should reflect every facet of your craft.  We  organize and simplify your creativity for increased production and imagination through our artful offerings utilizing not only the latest trends, but also tried and true methods incorporating elements of Feng Shui, Ergonomics and just good ole space planning.  Our design style is art inspired by a bygone era with a look back at stillness.  We believe in historical preservation and so we are naturally drawn to interesting salvage, unbelievable relics, and architectural elements.  We’re part design studio and part secondhand thrift shop.

Unlock your creativity, discover the curative self, and follow your inner Frida by honoring and loving that which you really are.  The gift of your own space to create is maybe the greatest investment we can make in ourselves. With inspiration from nature, we help you return to your core.  Rediscover the fabulous, the textures, the elements we surround ourselves with every day.  In the very near future, we’ll be offering elemental accessories for the homemade life and home industry arena.  What we offer is passion for style and creative space, love of design, and an appreciation for the unique.  Whether its setting up decorative vignettes, our eye helps people find the pieces that speak to them and work for them.  If you love found objects, cool and unique items and design-related specifics, then we can show you how simple lines are always fresh.  Your new studio functionality combined with emotional meaning will revolutionize the art you are creating.  And remember, “Happiness is a place between too little and too much.” –Unknown.

Some people save children, some  save animals, we save ARTISTS.

ART STUDIO ORGANIZING

It’s estimated that over 60 million people go garage sale-ing annually, and even MORE move or relocate.  We are the absolute experts in moving and storage issues, as our personal moving experiences includes three countries, several states (some more than once), and even more local household moves.  I have lived in Florida alone in four different locations (Palm Harbor, Tampa, Key West and Port Charlotte) over my lifetime.

Shauna Lee Lange Studios offers professional art studio organizing services for those that want to try their own hand at cleaning up clutter and chaos, community yard sale, garage sale, or other event and service planning. We will help you schedule, sort, price, organize, package, promote, clean and prepare for your best possible self. Often, the preparations for an event (such as remodeling or a wedding), and your participation in it or your enjoyment of it can be the most challenging.

We have USPAP Appraisal certification (we understand valuation) and previous NAPO membership with current participation (we understand clutter and professional organizing).  We can advise on a whole host of organization issues from commercial offices to residential ruin!  We strive for satisfied customers who will build a network of happy and peaceful thinkers.

The unorganized self, the un-collected artist in our selves, operates as stop-gap, an obstacle, and a creativity wall.  It doesn’t matter whether you’re a lawyer or a home-maker.  A cluttered mind is robbing you of your effective time management and your productivity, is causing you to lose or abandon your ideas, and is costing you creative energy!  Simple tools and techniques can turn your 24-hour day into one of joy and enjoyment.  Let us show you how.

I offer hands-on organizing, coaching, teaching, and consulting to simplify your art or craft space, time, possessions, workshops, studios, paperwork or estate. My mission is to replace the clutter, chaos and stress in your life with harmony and beauty, in a way that works for you. Organizing your space is a step on the road to personal transformation, and I feel both thrilled and deeply honored to assist in this process.  Below is a list of some of our services:

  • Organizing your home, home office, small business;
  • Closets, garage, attic, basement and large storage areas;
  • Remodels and project management;
  • Filing systems and file maintenance;
  • Managing your paperwork and time
  • Organizing your estate–paper records and tangible assets;
  • Downsizing and preparing for a move;
  • Staging your home;
  • Tutoring, teaching, study skills, and family job charts;
  • Coaching on personal and organizing issues;
  • Social Media and Internet organizing;
  • Teaching and training new organizers; and
  • Editing and proofreading your manuscript, resume, or other correspondence;

I work with all ages—from students to seniors, families with and without children, handicapped, and special needs (ADD, ADHD, Chronically Disorganized, Traumatic Brain Injury, Fibromyalgia, Hoarding). I like to work hands-on and side-by-side with you, but if you prefer that I start the project and do the initial sorting and clearing myself, I can do that and call you in for the major decision-making. I work with sensitivity and caring to find the approach that meets your needs. I can also be of special assistance to social workers, counselors, fiduciaries, estate executors and liquidators, lawyers, realtors, and to families whose members live out-of-town and who are in need of immediate local help with downsizing or managing an estate upon the death of a family member.

Residency/Intern Opportunities:  2012 RESIDENCE PROGRAM

Since 2006, Shauna Lee Lange Studios residency program has provided young motivated women from all artistic disciplines with spaces to work and collaborate. Located just miles from the Southwest beaches of Suncoast Florida.  The residency consists of informal sessions with various women & girls groups, collaboration on projects, and working independently on your own projects. The relaxed atmosphere and unstructured program provide considerable time for artistic regeneration and creation. We do not provide housing but we do provide an opportunity rich with resources for the cross-exchange of ideas, training, and skills and talents.
